Welcome to Armetta’s Grand Jeté Studio of Dance! Welcome to Armetta’s Grand Jeté Studio of Dance! I am Amanda Armetta-Gring, the artistic director and I am very excited about this year!  I have been dancing all my life literally, since my mom, a dancer as well, was pregnant with me, and danced on stage!  As owner and instructor of the dance studio I would once again like to welcome you to “Armetta’s Grand Jeté Studio of Dance”. Tuition A reminder that tuition is due by the 10th of every month by mail at: Amanda Gring 17 E. Main Street Macungie, Pa 18062 Checks made payable to: Amanda Gring If you wish to put your tuition in the box in the waiting room please make sure this is done before the 10th of the month. *A late fee will apply to those checks received after the 10th (more information on that in the handbook) Newsletter The newsletter will be distributed monthly with your invoice in the mail.  This will help us all be on the same page with news from the studio each month.  Please keep a file of all Newsletters as they contain valuable information for the months to come. Handbook There are just a few guidelines that must be followed for a smooth year.  Please take a few minutes to read the student handbook and go over it with your child.   After reading the handbook, please fill out the back page and return it your first payment.  *Please note: the dress code is a must! No More Late Fees!! Starting in September, Grand Jeté is offering “EFT’s”.  Automatic withdrawals from your checking or savings account.  On the 10th of every month we can withdraw the tuition out of your account.  This will help save time writing checks & you will never be late again!  If you would like to do this please contact Miss Amanda. Party Time Anytime throughout the year we offer dance parties for your children.  There are over 25 themes for boys and girls such as: Ballerina Princess, MTV Dance, and Hawaiian Luau Parties. Dora the Explorer, Cars, The Bratz.  We provide everything from the invitations, to party favors, cake, crafts, decorations, dance, and clean up! *See Miss Amanda to book your party today! ~New Dance Style~ Street Tap!  What is street tap?  A modern up-to-date version of tap.  It includes a hip-hop style of dance combined with fun new music. Many students have taken a tap class before but before you say no to tap at Grand Jete, try out a class.  Miss Nicole our Street Tap teacher has been performing and teaching for quite some time now.  Her high energy class is the perfect fit for any dancer.   Mark Your Calendars Dance Recital News!! Before you make any plans for 4th of July Weekend—WAIT!  This year, our recital dates will be Thursday June 28th Stage Rehearsal and the show will be on Friday June 29th.  The venue will be at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Allentown (just off of Hamilton Blvd.) This is such a big part of students’ dance experience, as a whole, so please plan ahead and wait until Saturday to go anywhere!  For those of you who have the same plans every year, we apologize for any inconvenience. Dance Team Auditions Wednesday, September 20th from 6:00-7:00, will be auditions for our Junior Dance Company.  The team is for students 11 & up dancing at and Intermediate level.  The team will compete in one competition, travel to NYC to take class with professionals, and see a Broadway show.  Students need to be enrolled in a Ballet or a Combo class.  This is for serious and committed dance students only. At the auditions we will review a series of Leaps & Turns and an 8ct of dance.
