National Dance Week is an initiative to heighten the awareness of dance and its contributions to our culture. This organization was formed to
encourage the growth and development of Dance in America by raising public awareness to its values and importance in our daily lives and
cultures. This week long celebration in April is marked by a variety of activities across the country. These events include performances,
dance-a-thons, kick lines, and more.

Armetta's Grand Jete has participated in National Dance Week since 2007.
During this week, we have performances at the Lower Macungie Community Center.
.  All students are encouraged and welcome to come.   Following the performances we will continue our tradition and work towards the largest
kick-line in Macungie!
Last year we had over 140 participants, this year we hope to beat that record.
