Recital News!!
June 29th and 30th will be our 1st dance production for Armetta’s Grand Jeté Studio of
Dance. The performance and rehearsal will be at Scottish Rite Cathedral/Center
located at
1533 Hamilton Street in Allentown.

PERFORMERS- Have a 5:00 Curtain Call
ROOM MOMS-NO LATER THAN 5:15
Stage Rehearsal On the night of stage rehearsal ALL students must be dressed as if it
were the night of the show. All
parts of the costume & tights must be worn. (Dressing rooms will not be available) Hair
must be pulled back in a bun (unless otherwise noted), and make-up must be worn.
This is to ensure that all students are prepared for the show, and know exactly what to
do, so on the night of the show everything will go much more smoothly.
Please arrive 15 prior to your designated time. So as to not fall behind schedule, if
your whole class is there, ready to go,
and we are waiting for one person, that particular number may be called early.
We will run performances without you; so make sure students are there early. As soon
as your class is done, you may leave, unless you are in more than one number.
Rehearsal Times
Rehearsal will start at 4:30 on Thursday. In the middle of June handouts will be given
as to what time your class will meet for rehearsal. You will then find out what order your
routines are for the show. Rehearsal times are also listed on our web page.
Videotaping Policy
Videotaping of the recital is prohibited. We will have a professional film made of the
show, so there will be a “no videotaping” rule. Videoing of the rehearsal will be
permitted.
Ticket Sales
Ticket sales end June 20th! Tickets will be $7.50 per person (child or adult) however,
children 3 and under are free. Seating is general admission; the doors will open at 5:30
and the show will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10.
***Please order your tickets on the phone with Miss Amanda. Do Not order before or
after class.
Year books
Did you order your Yearbook? The cost of the yearbook is $15. Each class picture will
be in the yearbooks along with collages of all the students, and much more!
Send your child a special note in the yearbook to let them know how much you
appreciate them and their hard work.
New Studio Location
Yeah! We finally found our own property for the studio! Starting July 1st Armetta’s
Grand Jeté Studio of Dance will be moving just a block down the street. We will be
located on the same side of Rt. 100 as we are now, next to Macungie Posey Patch. We
will have 2 spacious dance rooms, a comfortable waiting room, and our own parking
lot! Can’t wait to see you all there for summer and fall classes!
Recital Team Dance
To join all of our students together and make it a family experience, we will perform a
dance in our recital with all students who wish to participate. For more information and
Sign-ups please see the bright green sign in the waiting room.
New Classes and Teachers!
Grand Jeté would like to welcome Miss Tammy our twirling instructor and Miss Nicole
our tap dance instructor as part of our team. Miss Tammy and Miss Nicole along with
Miss Kerri and Miss Amanda will be teaching 6 week summer courses. Take advantage
of our summer classes and try out a new class.

Camps
Ready for something new this summer? How about an adventure at Grand Jeté! This
summer we will be offering Pop Star and Princess Camps. More information is on the
tray in our waiting room.
Book Your Party Over the Summer
Want to get all your children’s friends together over the summer, but don’t want the
work or preparing or cleaning up? Grand Jeté is now booking themed dance parties for
over the summer. Have an end of the year party or a welcome summer party, anything
you would like. Please contact Miss Amanda to book your date today!
