| April Newsletter Tuition Due To clear up any confusion due to the mis print on the "Payment Stubs" Tuition is due on the first of the month, no later than the 10th. New York Trip Another trip to New York City has been planned. Spend a warm spring day in the city, whether it be shopping, seeing a Broadway show, going to Little Italy. Dance team students and students ages 13 and up may take a dance class at the NEW Broadway Dance Center! When: Saturday May 3rd. Time: Leave from the studio at: 8am Leave from NY at:6pm Cost: Tickets are only $30. A sign up chart will be posted shortly, please make payment at time of signing up. A seat will not be saved for any whose payments have not been made. Due to bus regulations no one under 4 is permitted on the bus. National Dance Week This year 'National Dance Week' will be April 25th thru May 4th to celebrate this we will be performing a mini show at the Macungie Park in the Band Shell. All students are encouraged and welcome to participate. We will be performing a select group of dance routines, have a mini dance class and then we will make a kick-line. Each year we will strive to make the kick-line bigger and bigger. Be a part of history and join us! When: Saturday April 26th at 2pm Where: Macungie Band Shell, at the Macungie Park! Class size is limited, a printable registration form is available on the right site of this page click here ________________Adult Hip-hop________________ In July, we will be starting a 6 week adult hiphop class on Wednesday evenings from 8:30-9pm. (See the summer schedule on our web site for more info) This is a great class for any parents who want to have fun learning new steps with getting a work out... Don't worry this is a beginner class for everyone to enjoy! Attendance and Tardiness Attendance is imperative. As the recital date approaches quickly, please be in attendance to all classes. We understand that many students are involved with other activities that may conflict with our class schedule. However, this is not the time to miss any classes. When students miss classes they miss new material for their routine. Any student missing more than 3 lessons during Recital time (Feb.-June) will be reviewed by their teacher and/or the Director to see if they are capable of performing in the show. Please arrive on time for all classes. When a student is late they miss the essential parts of class: Warming up and Stretching. When they miss this part they are not properly ready for class and this could result in injury. For the safety of your children please arrive on time for all classes. Next Month Picture Week and Ticket Sales... Check your recital packet for scheduled times. FESTIVAL! Have You Heard???? April Showers bring MAY FESTIVALS!!!!!!!! Come one, Come all Both Big and Small and join in the festival fun! The place would be Alburtis Elementary and whe you say, Friday May 30th would be the day!!!! | May Newsletter Hitting news stand in July. Check out Lehigh Valley Magazine to see that Grand Jete was just voted Best Dance Studio of the Lehigh Valley 2008!! National Dance Week a success! Thank you to all the supporters of NDW. This year was another success with 83 in our kickline! Performers you did a wonderful job! May 1- Tuition Due the first of the month, no later than the 10th. May 3-New York Bus Trip. Tickets $30 per person. We will leave the studio at 8am. Sign-up for a fun spring day in the city, Seats still available. May 12,13,14,16: Picture Week Please check your recital packets or our website for the Picture week schedule. Days & Times may be different than class times. Ticket Sales Tickets will ONLY be on sale during Picture week times. Tickets are $8/person. Children under 3 are free. If there are any extra tickets they will be sold at the show for $15. Flowers Let Grand Jete order your flowers and bring them to the recital for you. This is a great way to surprise your performer and you won't have to worry about bringing them to the show. Flower orders are due the week of picture week. Order forms are in your recital packet. Lovelines Lovelines are only $2. Make a special note to your child and let them know how proud you are of them. Orders due picture week. Forms are in your recital packet. June 1st: New Schedule Please check your recital packets or online for the NEW SCHEDULE. In effort to keep our spectacular under 2 hours, certain classes will be combined. The last 3 weeks of classes from June 1st - June 21st will have a slight schedule change. Early Registration Guarentee the class that fits your schedule! Register for Fall classes before June 10th and save $5. Registration forms available online under "schedules". Class size is limited to 10 students/class so sign up today! Summer Camp Our children's summer camps offer 2.5-3 hours full of fun activities. Designed for kids ages 5-9 and 10+, each camp day combines a variety of dance styles, group activities and movement challenges along with arts and crafts, snacks and special events - which all add up to the perfect camp day for kids. |
