Dress Code
No baggy clothing in any classes, this is important so the teachers can check proper body alignment, which will
help prevent injury. The dress code is not an option it must be followed. You may get your attire at a local
store or online
Creative Dance Class: Light Pink tights, pink ballet shoes (canvas or Leather) and a light blue or black
leotard. Skirts are optional no shorts or shirts. Hair must be worn back.
5-7 Combo 1, 2, 3: Light Pink tights, pink ballet shoes (canvas or leather) and a light pink or black leotard.
Skirts are optional. Hair must be worn back.
Monday 8-10 Combo, Wednesday Combo 1 & Thursday Combo A: For Ballet /Jazz/HH: Pink tights, pink
ballet shoes (canvas or leather split-sole), Tan (not suntan)jazz shoes (not sneakers) and a Forest Green or
black leotard. Skirts are optional for ballet, and black dance shorts or black jazz pants may be worn for jazz.
Hair must be worn back.
Wednesday Cobmo B , Thursday Combo C & E: For Ballet /Jazz/HH: Pink tights, pink ballet shoes (canvas or
leather split-sole),Tan (not suntan) jazz shoes (not sneakers) and a Burgundy or black leotard. Skirts are
optional for ballet, and black dance shorts or black jazz pants may be worn for jazz. Hair must be worn back.
Pointe: Burgundy or black leotard. Pink tights, Skirts are optional. Hair must be pulled back.
Special Needs: Light Pink tights, pink ballet shoes (canvas or leather) and a light pink or black leotard. Skirts
are optional. Hair must be worn back.
Ballet 14+: Pink tights, pink ballet shoes (canvas or leather split-sole), black leotard or light pink leotard. Hair
pulled back. Skirts are optional
Hiphop 14 +Hiphop-Jazz sneakers and a light pink or black leotard. black dance shorts with tan or pink tight or
black Jazz pants may be worn.. Hair must be worn back.
Contemporary: Tan convertible tights, bare feet or Tan “footundeez”,any color leotard. Black dance shorts
optional. Hair pulled back.
Tap: Tan or Black tights, Black leotard, Shorts optional.
Tap 1: Tan tap shoes. Mary Jane style
Tap 2,3,4: Black tap shoes. Oxford style
Theater: Black tights, Black leotard, Black Jazz pants optional."Grecian Sandal" in black
Gymnastics & Cheernastics: Any colored leotard any color dance shorts. Optional footless tights. (No
baggy pants, shirts or skorts) Hair must be worn back.
Twirling: Light Blue Tank top or light blue leotard, Black dance shorts. Tan Jazz shoes. Hair must be worn
back. Tan Tights are optional.
Boys: White T-shirt, Black Gym shorts, black jazz shoe
Ensembles:
Shoes: Once a costume is picked exact shoes will be made known. for now just bring your ballet or jazz shoes.
Tuesday 500- Teal leotard, Black Tights, black dance shorts or black jazz pants
Tuesday 700- Purple leotard, Black Tights, black dance shorts or black jazz pants
Wednesday 445- Hot Pink Leotard, Black Tights,black dance shorts or black jazz pants
Policies and Procedures
*All Students must be potty trained.
Registration: A registration fee will be due upon signing up. Registration fees are non-refundable and must be
paid in order to be enrolled in a class.
Tuition: Tuition will be on an automatic w/d system or you may pay the year in full for a 5% discount. To avoid
confusion, your yearly tuition has been divided evenly into 10 equal payments made Sept. through June. June
lessons and all stage rehearsals for dance classes are included with the 10 month payment plan. There is no
deduction for vacations or short months. There is no extra charge for months with five class weeks. Automatic
w/d will take place the first of the month. Yearly tuition (Paid in Full) will receive a 5% discount and are due the
first week of classes. Please mark the student’s name on your checks. *All returned checks or auto-withdrawal
transactions will be charged a NSF fee.
Withdrawal and Refunds: One-month notice from the first of the month is required to discontinue any classes.
Withdrawal must be done in person and will not be accepted by email or over the phone. Withdrawal must be
done at the studio. Withdrawal must occur within the first 7 days of the month. No withdrawals will be accepted
after April 1. To withdraw from classes and parent or adult student must:
1. Inform studio director and
2. Complete and sign a withdrawal form provided by the office.
All automatic bank debiting will stop after the one-month period.
There are NO refunds or credits for missed lessons. Students are not allowed to drop classes for a month and
then expect their place to be held the following month with the exception of doctor excuses.
Absences, Tardiness and Make-up Lessons: Solo classes must be canceled 24 hrs in advance to allow for a
makeup class. Absences are discouraged. Missed Classes can only be made up within 2 weeks of the missed
date. Tardiness is unacceptable. It is distracting if a student walks in late and disturbs the class. If a student
was absent due to any circumstances tuition will NOT be reimbursed. If an injury occurs or other medical
condition a plan will be made. Any student missing more than 4 lessons after January will be reviewed by their
teacher and Director to see if they are capable of performing in the show. *A solo class may be an option to
catch up to the class if too many absences occur. This would be $85 for 4 1/2 classes.
Substitutions: The studio reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is
ill or otherwise unable to teach classes. If a teacher is ill and the studio cannot arrange a substitute any
missed classes will be made up.
Dress code: The dress code MUST be followed. If it is not followed the student may be asked to sit out of the
class.
Account Balance: must be paid to date in order to purchase show tickets
Extreme weather or unexpected interruption of Classes: If classes are canceled due to inclement weather the
first class will not be made up or reimbursed, any after that we will have makeup classes. The studio has the
right to cancel for extreme winter weather conditions. If you are unsure whether there will be class due to
inclement weather please call the studio 1 hour prior to your class or check the local wfmz channel for studio
updates scrolling across the bottom.

*All classes with the exception of Monday classes meet for 37 classes. Monday classes meet 36 times.
*Therefore if classes are canceled due to inclement weather for any Tue-Fri class the first two classes will not
be made up or reimbursed, any after that we will have makeup classes. Monday classes are allotted one snow
day without a makeup and any missed classes due to inclement weather after that will be made up
Parent’s Responsibility to be Aware of Dates and Events: It is the responsibility of the parent or adult student to
be aware of all studio activities, such as recitals, extra classes, date the studio is open and closed. The studio
will post all such notices on the website and through monthly emailed newsletters. It is the responsibility of the
parents or adult student to inform the studio of any address or telephone or email change.
Care of Students: The studio is not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. Students
are not to be left at the studio for excessive time before or after class.
